Sunan al-Soghir, known as Sunan al-Nasa’i, is one of the six books of hadith compiled by Imam Ahmad ibn Shuaib al-Nasa’i, who died in the year 303 AH in the city of Ramla in Palestine. Some scholars consider it the third of the six books in terms of authenticity. Al-Nasa’i relative to Nassa in Khurasan. He heard from several sheikhs, the most famous of whom were: Ishaq bin Rahwayh and Abu Dawood al-Sijistani. Al-Dhahabi said regarding his biography of the notables of the nobles: “There was no one in the head of 300 of the women who was more memorable. He was the most educated in the hadith, its reasoning, and its men from a Muslim, from Abi Dawood and from Abu Issa. He is a neighbor in the field of Bukhari and Abu Zar'a.” Among his compilations: the book “Al-Mujtaba Min al-Sunan al-Kubra” which is known as “Sunan al-Nisa’i,” “Sunan al-Kubra”, “The Weak and Abandoned,” and “The work of the day and the night” in which the supplications are mentioned.
